Cass and her husband set up a comfortable, warm nest in the playpen and started feeding the kitten through a syringe every hour. The little one became so grateful that he took his medicines and eyewashes without a sound.

The couple began to notice something peculiar about the small miracle a few days later.
โHe didnโt respond at all to sound stimuli, he had severely deformed joints, his energy levels were incredibly low, and his growth was stunted and disproportionate,โ Kass says.
As it turned out, the kitten has dysplasia of the elbows and hips on all four legs and a slight swimmerโs syndrome on the hind limbs. He is deaf, but he can communicate perfectly, in his own way.
