Gianna Llewellyn and her housemates Christie and Rob moved into an apartment in Brooklyn, New York, just over a month ago, oblivious to the fact that they would be greeted by two gorgeous kittens.

The two beautiful cats walked together and approached the apartment door, hoping to gain access. They visited in small groups in the mornings and evenings in quest of food and affection over the first few days.

Gianna explained:

β€œA sweet orange kitten (10 months old) and a black cat were roaming the backyard. They were inquisitive about the newcomers, and after we fed them salmon for dinner, they rapidly became friends.”

The cat couple was named Miso and Suki. They soon decided to make their home in the backyard of the apartment and enjoyed human company and cuddles.

Gianna tells:

β€œThey would perch on the windowsill while Miso (orange cat) groomed Suki (black cat). They were always in sight. They even followed us when we were outside.”

Miso was the more friendly of the two, and he used to meow, almost as if he was begging to be brought in; they were both ready to be inside cats. Despite her thinness, Suki had a somewhat larger tummy than Miso, according to Gianna, and she spent a lot of time lying down.

Suki’s friends believed she was expecting a child.

Gianna continued:

β€œJust in case, we decided to take them to the vet.” We were able to get both of them, which was not difficult at all. They allowed us to pick them up like if they were our pets.”

Suki was pregnant, and she might give birth in a few weeks, according to the vet, and Miso was unquestionably the father of the children. The two cats began exploring the apartment’s interior one room at a time that day, before silently curling up to rest.

Gianna asked help from the Little Wanderers NYC animal rescue group. Miso was spayed and vaccinated while at the facility, and he was now ready to begin his new life with Suki.

Miso was very attentive and checked on Suki as she went into labor; he seemed frightened and anxious, and he was in and out of the room to make sure everything was well. His presence reassured her soon-to-be mother.

Gianna expressed herself as follows:

β€œWe wanted to make sure their babies could find loving homes because these cats had become a part of us.”

Suki gave birth to a litter of seven completely healthy kittens. The little ones were nursed by the new mother while Miso patiently waited without disturbing mom. The new father looked at the kittens and sniffed at them curiously from time to time.

Suki, according to Gianna, is a wonderful mother. She continued, ”

β€œShe’s fatigued from all the wailing of her babies, but she’s a wonderful mother to them. She still plays with Miso and hangs around with him, but she licks her babies every hour to remind them to eat.”

The kittens are doing well and are starting to open their eyes and wag their paws. Miso is always on the lookout for them, as well as Suki, whom he adores chasing around the home because she is the only one who can keep Miso’s hyperactivity in check.

They have extremely different personalities; whereas Miso is a little shy and wants attention from his partner, Suki is more self-reliant, calm and brave, and full of love.
