Being the proud owner of a Maine Coon mix cat, I must say that my affection for this gorgeous breed is quite apparent. Anyone who loves cats will find it tough to resist the charm of these regal creatures. With their massive bodies and magnificent fluff, Maine Coon cats are incredibly gentle and sweet, making them feel like giant teddy bears. My cat Lotus, who is a purebred Maine Coon, embodies everything that makes this breed so special – he is super-sized, incredibly loving, and simply irresistible!
Weighing in at 22 pounds, this feline originated from Norway and currently resides in central Sweden with his fortunate owners. As evident from his charming photographs, he enjoys posing for the camera. Despite being a big cat, he enjoys exploring the countryside with his humans nearby for protection.
His loving owners bring him on regular outdoor escapades, allowing him to encounter a variety of different creatures. It’s no shock that he tends to tower over the other animals he meets, particularly fellow felines!
Lotus’ fame skyrocketed once his owner began sharing pictures of him on social media. His Instagram following has now reached an impressive 280k and is continually on the rise. It’s safe to say that cat enthusiasts from all corners of the globe can’t get enough of this stunning feline. Despite being an indoor cat, Lotus is clearly built to withstand even the harshest winters and adores playing in the snow! To put his size into perspective, he’s larger than his human companion.
